Just got the email, Version 4.0.5 is out...

Man, reading the email it makes it sound much more intensive then the earlier 3.3 version I have. Are there just many undiscovered features I've not found, or is it that much more involved?

Is there a new manual for 4.0?
Does it read a bit easier than the earlier 3.0 manual?

I'm beginning to get wood... :D

Don't poke yourself in the eye with that!

Are you going to get it or just have wet dreams about it? I kinda want to know what it's like before I convince the old lady to let me break out the plastic and go online...

FYI....

What's new in n-Track Studio v4.0.5

* Piano roll paste command pastes at the current cursor location
* Piano roll paint-paste button to paste repetitive patterns by dragging with the mouse
* Navigator window (shows current zoom location)
* Faster adding of mixer stripes when adding/deleting tracks
* Enhanched copy, cut and paste of multiple tracks.
* Edit/Insert command now can shift existing markers and rithm changes
* Fixed problems when using the program as a non-Administrator Windows user. The program installation still needs to be performed by Administrator
* New algorithm for Pitch Shift plug-in

I'll download it tonight and see how it goes. 4.0 has some funky bugs in it, but nothing that I can't deal with (the biggest one being that it suddenly decides to start clipping to the point of insanity after having it one for awhile, requiring me to shut it down and restart).

Incidentally, I have internet access now. I think I'll go check out some porn.

good plan. I have never tried n-track, how you guys like it?

I don't have much basis for comparison. I've seen audition/soundforge, but preferred the layout of N-tracks. I've heard a couple people say that they prefer N to those also.

Version 3.3 is working for me!

The manual on the other hand hasn't been of a whole lot of help :(

I have 3.0, or 3.3 I'd have to look.
Mine is bug free as far as I know and no computer lock ups......I aint mess'in with it! It does all I need, I'll let others test out the new version and see how it goes. :D

As far as recording tracks it is good, but editing and cutting sucks. It uses an another app for wav manipulation....IE adobe, soundforge, acid, etc.

I downloaded it last night but haven't tried it out yet. Anyways the upgrade was free for me. :)

And I still have the set up of the previous version.

Kinda wish I had v3.3 the way everyone is talking about it. :(
