When using a DAW do you record verses and choruses separately on different tracks? I saw this guy doing that in adobe on a you tube...How do you create a "bus"?

Mmmmmm...you normally record different instruments and vocals on different tracks.

But you can do whatever you like, really.

Depends....sometimes I want the chorus to sound a certain way different than the verse so I use a different track. Sometimes not, depends on the song.

I track verses/choruses/whatever on different tracks fairly often, especially when they use different guitar settings (clean vs. distorted, as a simple example), or they have drastic differences in vocal intensity.

For me, it's just cleaner and simpler that way when mixing. You get the chance to have "custom" settings for each song segment. I suppose you could use automation, but I find that to be a pain in the ass so I only use it when absolutely necessary.
