I'm looking for an inexpensive condenser mic for 2 purposes: recording a room during rock band rehearsals and recording acoustic guitar instrumentals. Am looking at the MXL V67Q.
Never used the mic but likely it's a decent price/quality point. No pad or roll off.
Another thing to weigh in on is a pair of mics is a lot more flexible -in general, especially for the acoustic guitar stuff for example.
