Vegas Playback

I have my keyboard hooked up to my mixer and my mixer hooked up to my laptop (sound card). I have my head phones in the mixer. Now when Im recording i can hear everything in the headphones, but when i playback it plays through my speakers which are obviously weak because its a laptop. I have Vegas 5.0. I was wondering how i set it so that when i playback, it will play through my headphones instead of the my speakers. Thanks.

Isn't it obvious? Connect the output of your soundcard to your mixer.

or i suppose hook your headphones to your laptop? haha.

but honestly, yeah...take your headphone out from your laptop and run that into your mixer, then it should work.

or look into getting a new soundcard for your laptop, cheap ones are available... m-audio.com for example.
