soooooooo what's the big whooptie doo difference between Vegas 4 (which I already own) and SoundForge (which I am pondering to buy) that would make me want to make the 400 dollar switch?! haha

They are totally different applications.
Kind of like Word and Excel.
Vegas is a video/audio editor with multiple track capability. Sound Forge is a mono/stereo WAV editor.

AH! haha. thnaks for the clarification. I thought soundforge was multitrack as well....hmm ok.
I have Vegas 4 for my multitracking, and ntrack too - i switch off. ha.
