I got this link via my Sound on Sound subscription, watched it the other night and found it very interesting. I like the way he like to record bands together in the room, my favourite way of working. Also love his views on compression.

Love it! My all time favorite way of recording as well.
He also blows out of the water the idea that one needs a big amp to get a big guitar sound. An Epi valve jr!
Personally I love using small amps.
