Vamp2 as mic pre

Ive just gotten myself an VAMP2 and it rules now i notised that it has an built in mic preamp with the other simulator guitar amps... does anyone know how good this is?
 
I think you might be referring to the guitar preamp...but who knows, it might work OK for dynamic mics with the right cable and on the cleanest setting possible. Gidge used his J-Station in this manner with usable results.

I wouldn't expect much, but why don't you try it out and tell us how bad it is? ;)
