I may be checking out this Valley Arts guitar:

The story around Valley Arts was that they made incredible guitars in California in the 1980s. Then the name was bought and Samick was producing Korean guitars with the Valley Arts name. Then the name was bought by Gibson and they produced guitars in Nashville(?)
Feel free to correct that story or add dates - this is just what I have pieced together around the internet.
Regarding this guitar, he SAYS it's "built in America" but at $200 it seems like it must be imported. As far as I can tell, it appears to be an older USA model (the Koreans had a Floyd Rose bridge?) but ---
I cannot find anything explaining how to distinguish between the different eras/makes of Valley Arts guitars. Can anybody help out?
