We took a trip back in July that looped through Nashville and Memphis. I only had time to drive up and down Music Row in Nashville but we did take the Sun Studio tour in Memphis. Music Row was cool, I've never seen that many studios in one place before... wild! [Lots of "For Rent/Lease" signs around too]. And the Sun tour was great, lot's of old gear out and on display. Sun is open for tours during the day but is still an active studio at night.

Cool pics. Music row is all houses?

It's funny how Sun looks like such a dump. You can see a lot of cool shots of it in the Rattle and Hum movie.

The last NAMM show I attended (2001) and did the same although not as many for rent/lease signs then.

The city actually has a vibe to it in certain areas.

I enjoyed myself a bunch.
