V67 problem

My v67 suddenly went out and i ha ve no idea why because it has never been dropped and has been sitting in its case since the last time i used it. when i put it into the preamp i turn the gain all the way up and i still cant get a reading on my meter. THe only anything i get is some pickup when i tap the mic body. What is wrong here?
 
Open it up

Try:

1) Opening it up and looking for disconnected leads

2) Making sure the grille has continuity to the ground (while not opened up)
 
Before opening the mic, test for bad cable. Test also w/another preamp. Or test a different condenser mic w/each. And yes, double check the phantom power switch.
