Hello guys!
Just wondering if there is anything BAD with the v-amp...
anyone who says that i should not buy it...

Does anyone know how to get an Metal like sound on an V-amp?
Like the sound Iced Earth has(if anyone has heard then)
or maybe metallica iron maiden or any other bands...

the thing is that a V-AMP is made mostly for homerecordings... so i wont need the footswitch....

are the other once you mentioned made for live, jam or record?

You wont find too many people around here saying anything positive about the v-amp due to it being a behringer product, and there is a strong animosity against that brand on this site.

I've got the V-amp1 and I love the thing. It does everything I would want, it sounds close to the real amps for me and it cost less than half the price of the POD, while offering a tone I much preferred. It's like any piece of gear, you should try it before you buy it.

It's great for recording, but I wouldnt use it live, but I wouldnt use a pod live either, most club acoustics arent good enough and most club attendees ears arent listening enough to care if you are using a Fender tweed or a Mesa boogie. I use 1 amp live and that seems to work just fine.

NobleSavage. That's plain BS. This messageboard does not have a collective animosity towards Behringer products per se.

The only thing I recall reading about the V-amp is that it's good bang for the buck. Do a search. Don't post bullshit..

youll will find 20 times more posts with people here defending Behringer when someone like Noble makes a statement like that....the Behringer mixers get a bad rap here and thats about it......

ok... so no hate against behringer... thats good... ive tried some of their mixers, sure, they are not the best but its good for me.

lucky me that my localstore lets me borrow the thing before i buy it... they just have to get it in first!!! *GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRR*!

I use the MX 602A.
I love the thing.
My only beef is there is no On/Off switch on their stuff.
No switch on the V either.
Other than that, I think they make some quality products.

I checked out a few toys the other day. POD, V and J.
It was fun, and I liked all of them to some degree.
I can't find the PODs price justifiable when compared to the V or J.
I haven't decided yet, but if I do buy one, it'll be the V.
Basiclly because I have one Behringer Procduct already and am more than happy with it.

Behringer, the switchless recording equipment. I guess you can take that either way.
