usingsoundblaster live!drive with cakewalk 9

i am having a hard time getting my livedrive to work with cakewalk 9. actually i am having a hard time getting my live drive to do much of anything. i want to run my guitar through my effects processor and into the live drive line in and into cakewalk. if anyone can help i would appreciate it. thanks
