Is there anyone who is using the yamaha electronic drum set dtexpress with sonar?
I am trying to find out the best way to use the drum set and record it as midi in sonar. There is a mismatch of voices between the preset kits and general midi #'s. James argo came up with a solution and that is to make a drum map. However thats a lot of work and you have to make one up for each preset kit!!!
Yamaha says that they do not have instrument definition files for the unit either!!
If any of you have a possible solution other than whats James mentioned please let me know. Or if youve gone through this yourself and made some files , please share them.
