Using WAV Loops

I am considering purchasing some WAV loop samples of drums. Do you just paste these onto a track? Or do you have to build your tracks in another program.

Can someone explain how this works.

Import the files into Reaper. When you hover over the end of the waveform, the cursor will turn into a resizer thing, which lets you expand the track's length. Click and drag it to the right, for however long you want it to play and it will repeat automatically.
