i am running a juno g through garageband but can only figure out how to use it as a controller for garageband's voices. Is there some way i can use the juno's voices through midi rather then having to mic an amp?
MIDI is only usable for sending notation information, ie, which note, how loud, etc... Actual audio cannot be sent through midi. To record the audio from your Juno G, you'll need to run your audio-out from the Juno G into your soundcard's audio input (assuming your soundcard has an audio input suitable for recording).
