Hi all,

I found a plugin called TROLLO to enable me to use my comp. keyboard in place of a midi keyboard. I've put it in my VST folder, got it up on my VST instr. (Cubasis VST 4.0) and I can get it to work with my soundcards midi instruments but not with any of my VST plugins. The other issue I have is although it does work, I don't know how to temporarily disable standard keyboard functionallity. Eg I press the 'S' key for a given note but that also solo's the selected track! (the keys normal function.)
Im running Win XP home and a sounblaster audigy 2 plat. pro.

Firstly, I haven't doen that mush with VST plugins, so this is just a guess
I don't think it will work with VST. I know you can record MIDI tracks and such, but as you've noted, pressing the keys on your keyboard will also trigger some event in VST. It probably works with the soundcard MIDI instruments, simply because it's taking the input striaght from the keyboard and sending it to the soundcard.
I think the only way you're going to be able to make it work is to get somethign like MidiOx and record the MIDI inputs from your keybaord to a file, and then import that to VST as a new track.

Then again, I might be completly wrong, however it makes sense to me

thanx for the reply,

I think you might be right. I might abondon that plan and try using the old drum machine that I have for my inputs. I really want to just use midi for drums at least for starters, but I want to input them real time. I'll keep playin' around- thanx again.
