Using Midi w/ Cubase LE

I have Boss Dr Synth 330 that I can use as a drum machine..... and midi sport uno.......is there anyway that I can put the drums INTO cubase w/o having the midi connected to cubase????

Well I was routin the sound thru audio inputs on my mbox........and I have it connected with midi.......But I cannot hear the sound unless I route it thru audio/headphone outputs.......Bascally, is there any way that I can get the sounds from the drum module to lock into cubase w/o audio outputs or midi after it's connected.......???

You can sample each sound individually but beyond that, no

do you mean that you want to record the individual sounds from the drum machine for use in a sampler? if so, just hook up the audio outs of the drum machine to the audio ins of your sound card and record the sounds.

thats what i do now.....I was wondering can you take them from or thru the midi and lock them in the sequencer.......To me midi damn near seems pointless almost......It's like I use key editor and have to record wit another program

Ok, You just need to have a midi track and an audio track.

The midi triggers the sound and the audio brings in the sounds

Make sure that you monitor through the soundcard, not the program. You may have latency problems otherwise

lol it's cool, I use it more in an adlib like fashsion, not entire melodies...Got it @ a used music store for like 50 dollars, I'll hold on to it for a minute tho
