I posted this question in a different part of the forum and got no response...so I'll ask the Tascam people.
I have a friend with a DP-24 which he and I use for combined recording projects. I want to buy something more portable for myself, like a DP-008ex. If I record a couple tracks on the DP-008, can I simply eject the memory card and take it with me to his house to plug into the DP-24 to continue working on? Will they be compatible? Do I need to just bite the bullet and get a DP-24 for this kind of compatibility?
