Using effects with the M308

Hello again. Time for my weekly "duh" question. Still waiting on my manual so I'm doing everything by trial and error.

Ok, on each channel of the M308 there are Aux-1, Aux-2 and Effects. I've hooked up an efffect unit via the various sends and returns on the rear of the M308. I have the effects unit set to 100% wet and I've gotten the effect signal so that I can control the amount of "wet" from the M308 via the Effects knob. The problem is when I turn up the amount of effect (reverb in this case) on one channel I can hear leakage from other instruments/channels. In other words, If I turn off all other channels and only have one channel on (guitar), the higher I turn up the reverb via the M308 effects knob for the guitar I can start to hear the vocals from another track/channel on the guitar track. It's only faint, but it's there. The same happens if I turn off the guitar channel and try to adjust the reverb for the vocal channel, the guitar then leaks in more and more the wetter I set the vocal reverb, I also get the same leakage if I route the effects through the Aux 1 and 2. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks guys.

That type of thing happens to me all the time and And it's also one of those things you usually fix without knowing how you fixed it. :D Because it depends on how you have it set up. Are you sure all the reverb or aux sends you don't want sent are at zero on all the channels you don't want them on?
