Hi all,
This is my first post here. Greetings to you all. My old Lexicon interface is crapping out and I am in the middle of a composition project. I have an old (circa 2001) Akai DPS 16 multi track stand alone recorder that I am wondering if I can use as an interface with my PC computer. I am running Cubase on Windows 7 64 bit. The Akai has a scsi, digital and analog outs. Could I connect the unit to the computer via a scsi-usb adapter cable and would this work as an interface? I need to record guitar, vocals and run my controller keyboard into it via midi. If it works I can get on with my project. If not I guess I can sell my grandmother's wooden leg and get another interface.
Thanks for any help.
