Say Something Smart!
I have a Delta 44. In Cakewalk Home Studio 2002, this is my preferences screen. I can only get to 1/2, or 3/4. Not all 4 at the same time...How can I get to all 4 at the same time?

Oh...
I'm using version 5.10.0.36 of the drivers as well.

I am not familiar with cakewalk but I used a delta 1010 with cool edit pro for a while. Somewhere in cakewalk you will have the option of recording on the left or right side of each stereo channel. That is where you can set which track you want to record on. You might have to track 1 panned all the way to the left while recording or something like that. Like I said, I am not familiar with cakewalk, but you should be able to distinguish between left and right on each stereo channel.

I was about to say, "doesn't Home Studio only support two simultaneous tracks of recording," but a quick look onthe Home Studio - SONAR compariosn on Cakewalk's website seems to suggest that's not so.

Now in my SONAR 2 Audio dialog box, the playback and recording devices in that pulldown are labeled as "Playback Timing Master" and "Record Timing Master." The actual devices themselves are enabled by selecting them on the Drivers tab. Try that. Then see if in the track properties you can select 1/2 or 3/4 on a track-by-track basis.
