Can any one please tell me if it is possible to use
Acid loops, esp. percussion with CakeWalk Pro Audio 9.0?
Are there loops for CW?

I answered this in the email you sent me but I'll repeat it here for the benfit of others that might have the same question:

SONAR has a groove looping feature, but not Cakewalk Pro Audio. In Cakewalk you have to work with looping the hard way -- figure out a loop's tempo, speed up or slow down loops to make them work with others in
the same project, etc. Sonic Foundry loops -- ACID loops -- are basically WAV files with a little extra info. Cakewalk and Cool Edit Pro can both open and play them, but of course the magic that's in the loop data will only work in ACID. Oh, and also in SONAR.

If you really want to build loop-based tracks, you really should get ahold of ACID or something like it. R=There is a free version called ACID Express. Or upgrade CPA to SONAR.
