There's two XLR inputs on the JBL. One I''m using for playback from a Zoom H5. The other is for a singer's mic. I now need to mic a drum bass into the JBL. Any idea how to add this?

Should I buy a Y type of cable to split it or some kind of box with a switch?

Or can I use my Scarlet Focusrite?

A mixer is what you need. You can combine any number of inputs to the speaker using a mixer with enough channels. That will let you balance the volumes and adjust the individual tones as well.

My mixer is gigantic. Whats a brand/model can I get that's like 6'x4" if possible. I need two inputs today. Prob 1 more later.

I suggest getting something with a little more capacity than you think you need. An extra input or two won't make it that much bigger.

There are lots of options from Mackie, Yamaha, Behringer etc.
