I got the Hammond for my home studio for free. I was told it was a B-3 (big organ, pedals.... looked about like what I remembered B-3's looking like).... anyway turns out to be a H-100 series (the 182 has to do with cabinent style and wood finish).
I've been offered a Fender Leslie for free (and being a guitar player this sounds cool all by itself) to use with the Hammond (if it will work) I posted to a Hammond group (...before I knew it wasn't a B-3). Most of responses were basically not favorable with regards to the Fender Leslie, didn't think a Hammond player would be happy with the sound, it would sound like crap, I'd need to change the speaker, use a bass filter, etc, etc...
I did some research on the H-100 and they're apparently not thought very highly of either by the true Hammond officinado!
Anybody here have any experience or know of someone using a Fender Leslie with keyboards? Maybe just using it for guitar might be the best idea...
Thanks
