I am using a Yamaha rx5 drum machine .

1. I recorded my acoustic then vocal track track every thing fine using a 990 MXL usb mic.

2. I recorded my drums using the rx 5 Yamaha drum machine just running it through my sound card, hit record and play along with the tracks i already recorded and it sounds great , cant wait for the playback right?
Well when i stop the recording process i can almost watch the drum track scrunch up and the play back is too fast and as the song goes along the timing is gone and drums speed up.

How do i go about curing this?

Thanks in advance.

seems as though you could have a sampling rate (kHz) mis-match between your software and sound cards !
Is everything set up at 44.1 Khz...for example?
Look, it could be many things.....buffer size, cache setting, etc.
Go through your options>settings and have a good look/tweak with that.
Come back to us if you see something that erks you.

ps...I love the RX5 unit!!!
