Using a Delta 410 with an Aardvark Q10?

I'm finding that I max out 8 inputs quite easily micing drums the way I do and trying to record scratch guitar tracks at the same time and such. I currently have a Q10 and I was wondering if I had a Delta 410 to run with it if I would have any sync or latency issues using them both to track at the same time. I would just get another used Q10 but I don't have the dough right now. Thanks in advance.

In all actuallity, I would really like to have four analog inputs instead of two, so if not the 410, what would you recommend with 4 analog ins that I could use in conjuntion with the vark?

I would (and did) find an Aardvark 2496 DirectPro to go with the Q10. Keep in mind that the company went belly up, so if it or your Q10 fails, you're SOL.

I thought about that, and yes I am aware of the company going balls. If my Q10 fails I am quite sure I could fix the breakout box or the preamps. I am pretty electronics savvy. Thanks for the help though. However, still, is it just not a good idea to mix and match hardware? Would I have noticable problems to mix interfaces?

I used to own an aardvark 24/96, and I tried using it with an Audigy card. I know that the Audigy isn't pro-audio or anything, but they could barely exist together in the same machine. The only way that I could use the aardvark, was to go into the device manager and totally disable the audigy card, then the aardvark would work fine.

That aside, what you are talking about is using both of them at the same time in a recording session. I'm assuming that you are using ASIO drivers, and it will not be possible to use two different brands of hardware at the same time, because they are not designed to interface together. So, if you want more inputs, you will probably have to do what AGCurry said, and get a 24/96. I do know that the aardvark drivers allow for you to have up to 4 of their devices in one machine, so that shouldn't be a problem. Hope this helps.

Thanks a bunch guys. Looks like I may just suck it up, save my money and get another Q10 or try and find a 24/96. I knew that was probly the best bet. Appreciate the suggestions.
