I have a zoom 234. I don't like it. Lots of programmed stuff(hiphop, latin, electronic, acid sounding stuff i'll never use. I want to record some demos of country, blues, rockin' stuff. lots of shuffles etc. straight forward 2/4, 4/4 time. If possible iwould like something that i can program a bass line, especially walking bass lines(Texas Swing). also, something that can program rhythm guitar or piano. Last, I'd like to have control of bass snare, and hi hat volumes. Any ideas? Thanks

What's your budget?

And when you say you want to program rythm guitar or piano, do you mean with samples?

I was going to suggest the same thing but Gidge is definitely too fast for me. ;)

It's a very versatile software and a good deal.

for software, fruity loops is great, and for a machine, you could use any drum machine of Roland.

Trade in the 234 for a Zoom 323.

I just got one and I'm still learning it, so don't ask me any expert questions. But, I bought it to do the things that you seem to want to do too.
