Hello,
I am currently searching for some new microphones and I am intersted in the idea of purchasing them used. I have about $700 so I was thinking about getting the SP C4 and C3 new, but maybe I could step up a bit if were to buy some used mics. So, can any of you tell me of places (either stores or on the internet) besides ebay, where I might be able to find used microphones. If it helps , I am in upstate New York. Thanks.
-Mike

oh my there are many. i have a bunch of links on not-the-computer-i-am-on-right-now

what kind of mic are you looking for?
a nice LD condenser for $700 or so...

boy sounds like fun.

one way that i find used dealers on the internet it to type in the name of a somewhat obscure piece then type in "sale" on google. like- "sony c48" sale.

what did that get me, a c48 for $577 dollars in budapest!

i got this place with doing this to google.
used sale tube condenser sony neuman

anyway good luck..

what do you want to get, maybe i can help you find it...

as you can see i have a lot of time...

Mixmasters are essentially "brokers", in other words, a lot of their listings are not necessarily their stock. I have been watching their site for at least 12 months and found their pricing to be "top dollar", if not in some cases way over the top.

Ditto.....

Mxmasters is expensive in for australian music price standards

Well, I was leaning in the direction of the TLM-103, if I could find it cheap enough (around 500). Then I was hoping to find a pair of SD condensors. And I hope to do both the LD and SD's for about $700-750. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I personally think C-3 and C-4 is a versatile combo that will be very effective.-Richie

Don't you just love it when someone recommends a mic they haven't even heard much less used, like the C-4. lol :)
