I just went out and bought a pair of VTB1's, to go with my SP-B1's. VERY quiet, even at fairly high gains. I had considered the DMP3, that I'm sure would have been great too. Most on this board seemed to prefer the DMP3, but others I talked to didn't. My son is quite a singer, and he just sounds phenomenal on my current setup.
I had considered the Behringer T1953, and I'll bet it's great, but I had to return my Ultragain 2200 because of a terrible hum in the left channel. I am not against Behringer, but I was a little gun-shy. Anyway, the T1953 looks great, though I believe someone on this board warned against it's excessively low interference rejection spec???
