I think that doing a search of completed items on eBay gives a more accurate picture of what items are actually selling for. I believe PrePal tracks asking prices, not final sale prices. Certainly, some items that I have bought on eBay have a cost a lot less than what PrePal says they are going for.

I second that! I buy everything off the internet and ebay is definitely a good way to measure an items average selling price.
