Used Equipment???

Any one know of good places to shop?

Or some lesser known new equip. distributors?

I have seen people paying ridiculous prices at Ebay, buying used for the price of new, sometimes saving like 1 or 2%, and once in a great while 2or 3% above new prices when you include shipping?!?!?!?

I just don't get it!

Used Gear by Mail (and RockAuction prior to shutting down) used to be a great resource for finding really great equipment at great prices... alot of their stuff was "b-stock" or "factory 2nds" but that doesn't bother me...

I got my guitar amp, a 24channel mixing board, a 100' snake, and an 8 track analog recorder for really great prices and all in excellent shape... the guitar amp was a factory 2nd so it was brand new and for less than 1/2 the cost...

Unfortunately they closed down and all that remains of the Rock Auction/Used Gear by Mail/Daddy's Junky Music are the actual store... so if there is a store near you then check that out, but I think they are only located in the New England states area
