USB/Wiring/Computer/Mic Problem? Idk.

Ok so, I have a Samson C01U which connects to the computer via the usb ports. Here's the problem. I had it plugged into one port and it was recording perfectly. Now in that same port it records extremely low. You can hardly hear the audio after it is recorded. Also, two other of my usb ports are the same way. My last usb port works, however it seems to be highly sensitive to audio and it overloads the mic quite often.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thank you in advanced.

Anyone? Is this a problem with my computer's usb ports? Or is it something else?

Sounds like your usb ports are not providing adequate power
(you may also have some power-saving scheme kicking in that's knocking out usb bus power?)

USB mics are for the most part only good for podcasters.
You'd be way ahead of the game to sell it, get a regular interface and standard mics.

I can't afford one of those set ups... But how could I go about fixing this?
