Hi..my first visit..looks like a great site!
Just started recording my guitar-playing, using Cakewalk Guitar Tracks, and am beginning to feel the limitations of my soundcard, not least having to reach around the back to plug stuff in!
So I want to invest in something better, up to around £200 (about $300). I have no bays spare for something like the Audigy Platinum, so was looking at the Extigy. But are there any alternatives? I'll open up the case if I have to, but I prefer the idea of a simple USB connection.
Any comments/advice/experiences gratefully received.
