USB Mics?

This might be in the wrong section...or even in the wrong forum but...would anyone have any good suggestions for a USB microphone for a Mac Laptop? It comes with one built it, but it picks up far too much noise in the background for it to be very useful to me at the moment.

I'm looking somewhere in the range of (under) $100-130, (not including an USB extension cord) and perhaps available at a main retailer (like a Circuit City, Best Buy, Micro Center...what have you), as well.

If you can give me any good hints, testimonies, links and/or the like, that would be wonderful to see/have!

Thanks again and I apologize in advance if this doesn't belong here.

No recommendations on the USB mic, but you should seriously consider taking that money and getting an interface (which knocks us out of the mic forum and into one of the other ones) and a decent non-USB mic. With a USB mic, even if it's really good, you'll be limited to just that one input/channel, and also just that one mic. With an interface, you almost always get at least two channels, and you'll be in a position to use different mics for different stuff.
