USB Latency Issue

I'm new to this whole home recording thing and a friend of mine just bought this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...3686134&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW#ebayphotohosting off ebay. We set up everything to record and we track the drums and when he goes in to record the guitars, their is a split second delay in the recording, throwing the whole song off. Is there anyway to fix this?

in the mobilepre's mixer (in taskbar) you need to have direct monitoring enabled.
