USB Hard drive kit

I'm setting up a second daw..

it's not usb powered..

is this enough for recording 4 tracks @ 32 bit 44.1

they say " Supports sustained data transfer rates up to 35 MB/Sec"

if you had 3 USB slots and 1 firewire, would you use the firewire for the soundcard or the hard drive?

It's USB 2.0, so that's good. Just make sure you put a drive that's 7200rpm in there. Save the firewire for the soundcard/interface if you have one.

Looks ok to me. You shouldn't have a problem recording 4 tracks at once. What kind of A/D converter or soundcard do you have?

You can pick up HUGE hard drives really cheap this weekend because of Memorial Day... that's if you don't mind dealing with mail-in-rebates.
