So I'm trying to install drivers for the Tascam US122 and I get a message which says: "The software you are installing has not passed Windows logo testing to verify its compatability with Windows XP. Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the current operation of your system either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the software vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo testing."

The driver is the most recent version (3.24) that is available from the Tascam web site.

Shall I go on with the installation? Anyone else encountered this?

Thanks

I just got this unit myself and have not used it yet, but did load the software and got the same message. According to Tascam it's fine- just the fact that they didn't pay to have the Microsoft Windows compatability tested by Microsoft themselves and put the neat little picture on all of their boxes for advertising. Shouldn't be any problem at all.

idiot alert!

...myself I mean. Thanks man... if I would have read the next line in the manual, I would have seen that that error message was expected. All is fine now (except Cubasis is not so user friendly)
