Hello all
just about found my feet with the US-122, apart from two inexplicable complete PC shutdowns right at the start (and not since) no major worries so far. Beware this is a complete newbie question (I'm sure I have seen a similar thread in the past, but can't locate now). Can I get more than 2 mics into US-122 by placing some sort of analogue mixer in front of it? Presumably if I use say 4 mics they would be reduced to 2 inputs via the US-122 and appear as 2 tracks in the software? A friend reckons a Samson mdr-6 might be an option, or some of the Behringer ones <100 quid (though read some bad reviews on a few of those). Where would the phantom power come from for the condenser mics, the US-122 or the mixer?? I am using the Cubase LE for recording, the version that came with the audio interface. Any advice / tips on a suitable (affordable) mixer gratefully received.
Cheers, Marc
