Hello. I am a home recording newbie and decided to get my feet wet by gathering together some used/low cost hardware/software and diving in. First thing I did was install an old Tascam US-122 interface + drivers and also the CUBASE LE software. Made a test recording with bass, guitar, drum machine and vocals - everything came out great. I then installed the E-MU xmidi 2x2 MIDI interface and the Emulator X2 software sampler. The installation went fine. However, when I try to run the Emulator X2 software either as a standalone or as a VST plugin for Cubase LE, the following message appears: THE STREAMING ENGINE COULD NOT BE INTIALIZED. Emulator X2 then shuts down. This happens repeatedly and I am assuming that this is due to some sort of conflict between the Creative/E-MU and Tascam ASIO drivers.

Therefore, I'm wondering if there is any way to disable/hide the Tascam ASIO drivers when I want to just run the Emulator X2 software. Thanks in advance!
