this may seem like a no-brainer here, however...
i am using OS 10.3.9 and i have installed the us-122 drivers as per instructions. the software i am using is garageband. i am 95% certain that i've tried every driver configuration possible and i still cannot hear sound through my interface when the song in garageband is playing. garageband also shows no indication that there's any audio playing (vu meters register nothing). i've tested this further, trying to run itunes with the drivers set to us-122 in my system audio settings. headphones are plugged into the interface. itunes stops cold until i switch to the computers internal sound drivers, then itunes resumes and i hear music through the powerbook's speakers. nothing through the interface, though, and itunes stops playing when i switch the drivers back to us-122.
i can hear my keyboard through the interface, but it's like my computer doesn't know the us-122 is there even though it knows the drivers are there and recognizes it in every other way.
is there something i'm missing, some configuration fault on my part?
