Urgent monitor question!!!!!!!!

I am looking at 2 sets of NS-10m monitors. One set is 1 year old and the owner wants $230. He is including the cables. The other set is approx 5 years old and the owner wants $220. He is also including the cables. Both seem to be in great shape. The later set has been in storage for the last 4-5 years in a closet.

Which set should I go with?? Do monitors decay with time?? Are these two deals esentially the same??

I would go with the newer set with the cables. The cones on the speakers do decay with time, usually longer than five years though.
