URGENT - Cool Edit Pro 2 mixing down to 16-bit?!

I'm using Cool Edit Pro version 2.0 and I am recording in 32-bit but when I do a mixdown, in Edit View it says my mixdown is 16-bit. I would like to end up in 16-bit eventually, but not at the mixdown point! This is frustrating. I need my mixdown to be 32-bit. What kind of setting am I overlooking? Thanks.

The short answer is "RTFM" but, if you are new to CEP 2.0 at this point in time, it's clear you don't have a manual.

So go to Options/Settings/Multitrack tab/Mixdown and find the fields that set the default to 16-bit or 32-bit (you may have to look around for it). It may not be exactly where I remember, but there is a setting for 32-bit mixdown. If you want to burn a CD from your mix, of course, you must convert to 16-bit (press F11 for options).
