Yes it plays in Windows Media player OK. I used a ftp to upload it to our website which is a free site hosted by tripod. Once there I can not get it to play in either the website or the web managing site. This page not available comes up although the adress and links are right.
I have never used Tripod to host anything, but when I visit site of people that are hosted with them I find that its only about a 50/50 chance that the site will show up.
1- Does Tripod allow mp3 files? 'Cause some providers don't.
2- Tripod sucks when it comes to downloading large files. I once had a mix up on a tripod site and posted it in the clinic, and nobody was able to download it. The file was there, but the download interrupted.
It said something on the error page about the "remote loading policy". I would check it if I were you. Maybe you can't have .mp3 files up? Beats me. But anything thats free is nothing to complain about. Try Angelfire. I think they have the same unreliable situation, but it can't hurt to have two sites if they are both free.
