upgrading the VS-840 to accomodate SCSI HD

I wish I could find the post on the net I read regarding somebody who claims to have successfully swapped out the VS-840 zip and replaced it with a SCSI hard drive.... was this B.S. or does someone have a clue how this is done? Thanks.

I believe that you have an option of putting in a SCSI kit to back up your data to, however, you can install a laptop HDD to replace the ZIP Drive. That way you can playback all 8 tracks in MT1 mode.
