Drummer and Pipedreamer
I will be upgrading my studio within the next three months. I produce radio and TV commercials, video narrations and music on-hold. Presently running a 350Mhz. Dell Dimension Pentium II that's been hot-rodded a little bit. Soundcard is a SoundBlaster Live with a Mackie 1202-VLZ pro mixer and Rode NT-1 mike. My main software is Soundforge 6.0 and Cool-Edit 1.2. I am going to buy a custom-built machine and am looking to get some suggestions???? Would anyone like to give me some recommendations on hard-drives, ram, soundcards, burners and software. I am also a drummer and would like to do some music projects as well. I would like to get some feedback from people on the board. What is working for you?
