Upgrading from Sonar 1.3 Xl to 2.0XL, is it worth it?

Is it really worth it¡ I don't Know? How good are those drums , compresor anf EQ plug ins?
Please help me decide.
 
I would say yes, but it depends on your needs. I upgranded from 1.3 to 2.0 xl. I was looking for a good softh synth drum and the DR008 is GREAT. Most usable softh synth they have included for my needs (too many bleeps and bloops plug ins and not enough 'real' instruments).

Also, I was exporting files into winamp to see the eq spectrum and now I can see it and change it in sonar. Haven't used the compresser yet, but the brick wall limiter is something I need.
 
man it was worth it to me just for the new file system. having the individual wave files for each song in a separate folder keeps everything nice and clean.
 
2.0 is great for sure. I left out the 2.0 features b/c I thought you were saying 2.0 vs. 2.0xl. Whether or not you go to xl, upgrade to 2.0. So much better. file system, and for me the surface control support.
