I have one project with about five recorded tracks; mostly audio and one MIDI. I want to import this project into my new version of Cubase. I want to completely uninstall the older version before installing the new one. The older version was buggy and I don't want any carryover issues.

How can I move my unfinished project over? I'm not a computer or DAW pro; if there's a step-by-step or detailed instruction out there, please let me know.

Thanks!!

Yeah you just open them in the new version of cubase as is normal. A message box will show up when you save saying the project file was created in ai4 and will give you an option of over writting the save or making a copy of the cpr that works in artist 6.

Ok, but let me back up to the "save." Do I have to mannually save certain AI4 project files myself or are you saying I can completely uninstall AI4 first, without moving or saving anything and then install 6?

If I have to move anything before uninstalling Ai4, which files and where are they?
