I am trying to get my existing XP-PRO DAW (that works fine) to work in WIN 7/64.
I purchased a SSD drive to do the WIN-7 64, SOnar 7.02, REASON 4.0 and Firepod (FP-10) install on.
The only other thing I changed was I swapped out wireless computer keyboard/mouse with new.
Does anyone know if Presonus FP10 firewire interface for win 7 is incompatible with WIN-7/64 bit VS WIN-7/32 bit?
I am having some serious issues with crackles and pops in SONAR 7.02 rewired to REASON 4.0 in WIN 7.I attached
three "LATENCYMON" screenshots. HAL.DLL, NTOSKRNL.exe .... These are things I cant EEEEFing disable.I have spent
countless hours over the last 2 weeks trying to get this to work ..
I have read every article I can find and searched most forums. Note that in Latencymon maib page view that the highest reported hard pagefault count was always redlined. here it is not. i disconneted my samsung LCD TV and it seems better (where it is now).

I have tried legacy 1394 drivers
All win updates
All hardware updates but no Bios updates. The install utility is a little sketchy and fails to work.
If I screw the Bios then My whole DAW is down. At least now I can boot to the XP drive and be up and running.

bing-bong-bing-bong, I am going out of my mind Now I am going to install WIN 32 and try all over.

Please... any help would be much appreciated.
