Upgrade Help!

How much would it cost for me to upgrade from a pentium 2 to 3??

What should I do, that along with a 150 dollar good quality soundcard, or get a DSP Factory soundcard?

I've been an "Intel Guy" for the last five years. Almost put a Plll 800 for almost $200 where a celeron 500 used to be.

Bang for the buck prevailed and I bought an Abit KT7E mobo and Athalon 1000 for $235 including shipping. Event cards and others co-habitate with the KT133 chip.
Research your card first based on what you want to do. Then find out what chipsets it works with. Go from there.
