In VERY simple terms, what is the best way to update my dh24 's firmware? I ahve beend to the Alesis site and see all the updates. I'm not a fan of directly connecting the HD to internet. Seems complex. Is there way else? Reason is when I try to transfer files via ethernet all looks good. I see hard drive and all the songs but when I go to copy,the HD goes into transfer mode for a split second and then into " enable ftp" and error message comes up on computer. Now I know this is very slow way to do this. I use Motu and fireport normally. I 'm just playing really. This used to work. Would like to know why is doesnt now!
